Seattle airport cyberattack outages persist heading into Labor Day travel rush

Airport staff began turning on and testing systems for international and low-volume carriers, which are the most heavily impacted by the outage. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is heading into what officials described as the busiest Labor Day weekend travel period in the airport's history, as it continues to grapple with widespread system outages following a cyberattack. Researcher sued for sharing data stolen by ransomware with media

The City of Columbus, Ohio, has filed a lawsuit against security researcher David Leroy Ross, aka Connor Goodwolf, accusing him of illegally downloading and disseminating data stolen from the City's IT network and leaked by the Rhysida ransomware gang. Columbus, the capital and most populous (2,140,000) city in Ohio, suffered a ransomware attack on July 18, 2024, which caused various service outages and unavailability of email and IT connectivity between public agencies. Halliburton confirms data stolen in recent cyberattack

Oil and gas giant Halliburton has confirmed in a filing today to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that data was stolen in the recent attack linked to the RansomHub ransomware gang. The form 8-K filing mentions that an unauthorized third party accessed and exfiltrated sensitive information from Halliburton systems, and the company is now in the process of determining the exact scope of the breach. Transport for London discloses ongoing "cyber security incident"

Transport for London (TfL), the city's transport authority, is investigating an ongoing cyberattack that has yet to impact its services. The agency says that, for the moment, there is no evidence that customer information was compromised during the incident. Chrome 128 Updates Patch High-Severity Vulnerabilities
